About Us
The 5 Million Friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina (5MFBH) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization created in Paris, dedicated to building a global network of the Bosnian diaspora and friends of Bosnia and Herzegovina around the world. While founded in the heart of Europe, the organization has a distinctly global vocation.
Independent of political, religious, or ethnic affiliations, 5MFBH promotes dialogue, cooperation, and mutual understanding between Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, the European Union, and the wider international community.
Through cultural, economic, and social initiatives, the association seeks to strengthen connections within the diaspora, support the development and international visibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and encourage constructive partnerships with institutions, entrepreneurs, and cultural actors.
Our Mission
The mission of 5MFBH is to connect people, ideas, and initiatives that contribute to the cultural vitality, economic progress, and international presence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while supporting its path toward closer cooperation and integration with the European Union.
In this spirit, the association also supports initiatives that contribute to a stronger, more united, and internationally respected European Union, founded on the shared values of cooperation, cultural diversity, and solidarity.
